MCFL: You need to be at Health Curriculum Frameworks hearings 9/20/11!

by: MCFL Press Release

Wed Sep 14, 2011 at 17:07:49 PM EDT

The Mass. Health Curriculum Frameworks are currently the recommendations of the state as to what should be taught in public schools; local districts have some discretion as to how they are implemented.

Recent legislative attempts have been made to make Health a core curriculum subject, thereby making implementation of the Frameworks mandatory in all school districts. No one is opposed to Health education per se (nutrition, exercise, safety), but concealed within the Frameworks is a radical form of sex education which includes getting abortions without parental knowledge or consent.

The Education Committee will hold public hearings next Tuesday morning, September 20th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm in Room A-2.

Please:

1) Read about the Frameworks

2) Write your reasons for opposing

3) Come to the State House to testify

4) If you cannot attend, please send a copy of your testimony to Rep Alice Peisch, Alice.Peisch@mahouse.gov and to your own State Rep.

You probably noticed that the hearings are in that hot room so dress cooly. Every one of us needs to participate.
Thank you! Anne

Ten unconventional pro-life arguments that can win the argument

#1 Sex is fun, just don't kill your kids

#2 Women are coerced into abortion (95% wish they had another option)

#3 More children are better for the environment

#4 Abortion is unnatural

#5 More children are necessary for Social Security and Medicare to be there for the next generation

#6 Six times as many post-abortive women are in National Right to Life as are in NARAL

#7 Abortion is killing away a future democrat majority

#8 Roe v. Wade has already been set aside, by Casey

#9 There are millions waiting to adopt, even thousands waiting to adopt downs babies (and the number of American babies available for adoption is down 94% from the 1970s)

#10 Rich elites, like the Rockfellers, use abortion to contain the lower classes and cap social services, it's soft genocide enabled by the rhetoric of "choice"

I made this quick graphic for an idea at work to help foster pro-life discussions for younger children, and get them in the baby-saving mindset.
